NORTH STRADBROKE ISLAND CHILDMINDING SERVICES
Ladybirds & Dragonflies Childminding Service is able to offer services to the residents of North Stradbroke Island as well as those families travelling on holidays.
Organisation of a North Stradbroke Island booking can take a little longer than a standard mainland booking therefore a fortnights notice is generally required to fullfill these bookings.
Please also be aware of ferry arrival and departure times (Stradbroke Ferries Timetable). If you require the services of one of our staff carers beyond 6pm in the evening accommodation will need to be arranged for your staff carer, this can either be through the use of a spare bedroom or couch or having the office arrange accommodation on the island.

Staff carers servicing North Stradbroke Island are residents from the mainland. You will be required to pay in addition to your childminding fees any necessary transportation and accommodation costs as outlined below. Please be aware that your booked hours will begin from the time that the staff carer is left with your child; not from the time the staff carer arrives at the island. First option
- $17* water taxi/you provide transport & accommodation
Your appointed carer will arrive at Dunwich by water taxi. You will be required to collect your
appointed staff carer from Dunwich and transport them to the booking location. At the completion of the booking the staff carer is to be returned to Dunwich for their return trip home. (If you require a night booking after 6pm you will be required to provide accommodation for your staff carer).

| Second option
- $27* bus/water taxi/you provide accommodation or
- $90* bus/water taxi/accommodation
Your appointed staff carer will arrive at Dunwich by water taxi. Your carer will then catch a bus from Dunwich to the required destination of the booking (limited bus services to Amity Point). At the completion of the booking they will catch a bus from the booking destination to return them to Dunwich.

Third option
- $150* accommodation/vehicle ferry
The appointed staff carer will arrive at Dunwich by vehicle ferry and drive themselves to the booking location. Accommodation can be arranged free of charge with this option.
