Our staff represent a diverse range of backgrounds and bring with them a wealth of experience from various child related fields. We provide you with the assurance of knowing that your children are being cared for by a responsible and reliable adult at all times; both when you are at home and in your absence.

It is a requirement of our service that all staff hold a current first aid qualification and formal qualification in early childhood studies, public liability insurance, drivers license (preferred) and minimum 12 months childcare experience. Ladybirds & Dragonflies Childminding Service is committed to protecting children and young people from harm. We require all applicants who are to work with children and young people to undergo an extensive screening process prior to appointment. A process that includes but is not limited to, comprehensive reference checks, an identity check, a 'working with children check' and/or a 'national criminal history record' check. Lastly we conduct a phone or face to face induction session with the individual to clarify further details regarding their working experience within the field.
