Are you considering a wedding where you would like children in attendance but would also like your guests to enjoy the night without having to supervise them. Ladybirds & Dragonflies Childminding Service can assist by providing either a babysitting service for your clients (taking children back to their accommodation later in the evening) or by providing our silver wedding reception package.

To host a wedding reception package it is essential that we have access to either a few tables or a separate space within the room (approx 3m x 3m) of the main function, and can only be booked if there are to be more than 5 children in attendance. Our corporate team of staff will arrive 30mins before the children to decorate the room and set up a variety of fun, exciting and educational play equipment and experiences; with the option of themes also available. Due to the fact parents will be onsite during the entire function we are able to cater for smaller children from a minimum age of 3 months within our silver wedding reception package.

To ensure the smooth running of this service we do require a minimum of 6 weeks notice in which time, contact details regarding the individual children and any medical requirements will be noted. Additionally an onsite risk assessment will be conducted at the proposed venue to document and eliminate where possible any risks prior to the booking taking place.

Upon arrival all parents will be expected to check in with staff where children will be provided with a wristband indicating they are to be supervised by our team. Please note if you intend taking your child from the main function room at any time (e.g to the car, toilet etc) that you notify our staff to avoid any miscommunication as to whom should be accounted for at any given time. At the completion of the function children will be presented with their own take home activity bag.

This package is suitable for those couples who would like the joy of having children in attendance and be involved in the proceedings (e.g dancing) but have the reassurance of knowing their guests can still enjoy themselves without the responsibility of monitoring their child at all times.
