RATES TABLE & CANCELLATION POLICY As Ladybirds & Dragonflies Childminding Service employs all staff carers as casual employees; our client rates include payment for the staff carer's wage, tax, insurance and superannuation contribution. Employing our staff carers ensures they are committed to their job, are prepared to meet strict selection requirements, and have attended a face to face interview with our management team. Our staff carers either have a formal qualification within the childcare industry, are parents themselves or are undergoing formal childcare training so you can be assured that your child is both receiving educational and quality care when using any of our great range of services.
Ladybirds & Dragonflies Childminding Service is registered with the Family Assistance Office to enable you to claim the registered care childcare benefit should you meet the minimum requirements set down by the Family Assistance Office to claim this entitlement. We are NOT classified as an approved care service therefore you are NOT able to claim the childcare tax rebate or approved childcare benefit on any of our services. In addition to the client fee, there is a non refundable staff carer placement fee payable to our organisation; some companies call this a booking fee. This fee is charged weekly rather than per booking. Therefore for families that book more than 2 bookings a week you will only be required to pay the staff carer placement fee once. However if you require care the following week an additional staff carer placement fee will need to be paid. A week is referred to as Sunday - Saturday. Clients who choose to take out a membership will pay a reduced placement fee..
If a booking is cancelled with less than 24 hours notice you will be required to pay the minimum three hours with the remainder of any fees refunded to you. (Under certain circumstances this may be negotiable however proof of cancellation will be required). Specialised Services have their own cancellation policies refer to individual rates pages for details. If a carer is unable to complete a booking due to illness or other unforeseen circumstance and we have exhausted all avenues of supplying a suitable replacement, you will receive a full refund of all monies paid (with the exception of the non-refundable carer placement fee).
