Ladybirds & Dragonflies Childminding Service is able to offer services to the residents of North Stradbroke Island as well as those families travelling on holidays.

Organisation of a North Stradbroke Island booking can take a little longer than a standard mainland booking therefore a fortnights notice is generally required to fullfill these bookings.

If you require the services of one of our staff carers beyond 6pm in the evening accommodation will need to be arranged for your staff carer, this can either be through the use of a spare bedroom or couch or having the office arrange accommodation on the island.

Staff carers who service North Stradbroke Island are residents from the mainland. You will be required to pay in addition to your childminding fees any necessary transportation and accommodation costs as outlined on our rates page. Please be aware that your booked hours will begin from the time that the staff carer is left with your child; not from the time the staff carer arrives on the island.
