Ladybirds & Dragonflies Childminding Service is always looking for passionate individuals to join our award winning team.

To become a staff carer you must: 

• Demonstrate honesty and a respect for Ladybirds & Dragonflies Childminding Service at all times
• Demonstrate a high level of professionalism
• Demonstrate a genuine interest in the care of children
• Understand and uphold the mission statement of the service at all times
• Understand and adhere to the service policies and procedures
• Have an understanding of how to handle various child related situations
• Have a minimum of 12 months paid employment or proven experience caring for children outside of your direct family environment

You must also have or be willing to obtain a:

• Senior First Aid Certificate and
• Positive notice BLUE CARD for child related employment
• Formal qualification within the childcare industry and/or be a parent

Prospective staff carers will need to attend a 2 hour interview/information session with the Director at Burpengary and undergo exhaustive reference checks prior to being accepted as a team member of Ladybirds & Dragonflies Childminding Service.

Regular Information/Interview Sessions are held at Burpengary for those interested in becoming a staff carer. Please contact us if you are interested in attending one of these sessions and we can provide you with the necessary documentation.
