Ladybirds & Dragonflies Childminding Service was established in 2005. Tami Bass the founder and director of the service noticed during her work within the childcare industry that parents were looking for a service which they could utilise for occasional care and assistance as required within their own home. With this in mind Tami created a new service which met the needs of those parents, providing flexibility and experienced staff.

Over a number of years the business has received a higher than expected demand and the decision was made to expand the business; offering services to clients in the Gold Coast area commencing January 2010.

Tami has an extensive background within the childcare industry after working numerous years within centre based, school based and home based childcare environments. Tami has her Diploma in Children’s Services and has dedicated a considerable amount of time to studying different aspects of child development and appropriate behaviours of children. In addition to co-ordinating Ladybirds & Dragonflies Childminding Service, Tami maintains her interaction with children on a daily basis through her operation of Forest Friends home based family day care service. Tami’s passion for children, vast knowledge and excellent managerial skills allow her to provide a high quality service for you and your family.
